EXIR will provide a more efficient and powerful night vision illumination (up to 30% more effective than tradition IR night vision). EXIR technology allows uniform IR illumination which eliminates traditional issues such as over exposure in the centre of the image and dark areas in the corner of the image.

The powerful fixed 2.8mm wide lens allows a large field of view, giving a huge coverage without the need for additional cameras.

Hikvision’s up the coax technology gives simple access to the cameras On-Screen-Display (OSD) & built-in software, allowing customisation of the camera settings including colour, brightness & wide dynamic range for the best video quality every time. The DS-2CE57H0T-VPITE-2.8MM is ideal for indoor applications, external use could face condensation or obscured view caused by rain or adverse weather.

Power over Coaxial (POC) technology allows both the video signal and power to be transferred using a single coaxial cable. This eliminates the need for additional power cables and power supplies. POC cameras can be used on cable runs of up to 200 metres and must be used with compatible Hikvision PoC recorders. POC cameras can also be used on standard recorders as long as a seperate power source is provided.
