Power over Coaxial (POC) technology allows both the video signal and power to be transferred using a single coaxial cable. This eliminates the need for additional power cables and power supplies. POC cameras can be used on cable runs of up to 200 metres and must be used with compatible Hikvision PoC recorders. POC cameras can also be used on standard recorders as long as a separate power source is provided.
