Its innovative smoke chamber eliminates the need for frequent cleaning, while advanced software algorithms drastically reduce false alarms. Equipped with a dual-spectrum sensor, it can accurately differentiate between smoke and steam, while dual thermistors promptly detect the combustion of synthetic materials. Compliant with the latest fire safety standards, FireProtect 2 AC boasts a meticulously crafted design, featuring an enhanced mounting panel complete with WAGO 221 connectors for effortless installation. With intuitive in-app settings, setting up this detector is a breeze, offering a premium experience tailored for professionals.
Every FireProtect 2 AC detector offers dual notification capabilities for fire alarms: primary and fallback. When a fire hazard is detected, the initiating detector transmits an alarm signal to the hub. The hub then triggers the primary interconnect, activating the built-in sirens on all detectors within 20 seconds—three times faster than standard fire protocols. Critical information, including the initiating detector's location, alarm type, and precise time, is instantly accessible via Ajax apps. If communication with the hub is unavailable, the initiating detector automatically engages the fallback interconnect, directly transmitting the alarm to other detectors. This process ensures alarm activation within just 1 minute.
