The C-TEC ACTIV Wall Sounder Deep Base – Red (BF430C/CC/DR) is a high-output conventional fire alarm sounder designed to provide a powerful audible warning in commercial, industrial and other fire detection applications. Delivering an impressive 100dB(A) sound output at 1 metre, this red deep-base wall sounder is designed to provide a clear and effective alarm signal when connected to a compatible conventional fire alarm system. The unit is manufactured by C-TEC in the UK and is suitable for use with C-TEC conventional fire alarm panels and compatible third-party systems.
The BF430C/CC/DR features 31 selectable primary tones, an optional secondary tone and two selectable volume levels, allowing the sounder to be configured for different fire alarm applications. It operates from 18–30V DC and offers relatively low alarm current consumption of 5.5mA at 30V DC or 3.8mA at 18V DC. Its deep-base construction provides a robust wall-mounted solution, while the IP33C rating makes it suitable for use in covered outdoor areas as well as appropriate indoor environments.
Third-party certified to EN54-3 by the LPCB, the C-TEC ActiV BF430C/CC/DR is an excellent choice for conventional fire alarm systems requiring a dependable, high-volume audible warning device. The signal red enclosure provides clear visual identification as a fire alarm device, while its compact 114mm diameter x 132mm deep form factor makes it suitable for a wide range of wall-mounted applications. The sounder is compatible with C-TEC CFP, FP, MFP and EP203 conventional fire alarm panels, with compatibility testing recommended when used with third-party panels.
