The VS 1000E is an advanced detection unit designed specifically to identify vaping and smoking activity in controlled environments such as schools, washrooms, transport hubs and commercial premises. Unlike traditional surveillance devices, it does not rely on cameras or microphones, ensuring complete privacy while delivering accurate and reliable detection.
The sensor uses a precision laser beam combined with a sensitive optical receiver to detect aerosol particles generated by e cigarettes and tobacco smoke. When particles scatter the laser light, the system identifies the unique signature of vapour or smoke and generates an alarm output. Intelligent algorithms and adaptive calibration reduce the risk of nuisance alarms caused by dust, steam or general air movement.
Engineered for straightforward deployment, the VS 1000E features a twist lock mounting system and push fit connectors for rapid installation.
