The Ajax FireProtect 2 SB is a next-generation wireless fire detector that combines smoke and heat detection for enhanced fire safety. Designed for indoor residential and commercial environments, this model features a sealed battery with an impressive 10-year lifespan, eliminating the need for regular battery replacements. The device uses advanced photoelectric and thermistor sensors to quickly detect smoke or rapid temperature increases, providing early warning through a built-in 85 dB siren. Its compact, modern design integrates seamlessly with any interior, and the detector connects to the Ajax security system via Jeweller radio technology for reliable, real-time alerts. Installation is quick and tool-free thanks to the included SmartBracket mount, and all configuration is managed remotely via the Ajax app.
FireProtect2 SB can operate independently from the hub, emitting a fire alarm by means of a built-in siren. Several detectors can indicate an alarm simultaneously.
