The Opal Elite external PIR detector is IP55 rated with a 10 to 35 metre detection range. It is an inconspicuous and extremely popular external passive infrared detector that works in conjunction with GJD’s security lighting controllers, CCTV and intruder alarms.
The Elite offers a high level of adaptability. There are seven different modes of operation, giving various permutations of normally open and normally closed arrangements for the two volt-free relays, plus a selection of timing and functional options for the relay changeover contacts.
When used with the GJD range of security lighting controllers, you can achieve an advanced audible warning as intruders approach your property, it can then automatically switch on security lighting around the perimeter.
