Ajax EN54 Wireless REX Fire Range Extender - White (AJA-135975)
The Ajax EN54 Fire ReX Jeweller is a wireless range extender designed specifically for EN54 fire safety systems. It increases the communication range and stability of the fire detection network, enabling reliable alarm signaling across large or complex facilities. The extender can connect to the fire control panel (CIE) either wirelessly or via Ethernet and ensures robust communication even through steel structures or concrete walls.
Each system can include up to five Fire ReX units, allowing scalable coverage adjustments based on building size or layout. The ReX supports a mix of devices including fire detectors, sounders, alerting units, as well as automation or intrusion protection elements, all managed seamlessly within the same system architecture.
The device includes an internal backup battery capable of supporting 24 or 72 hours of operation in case of power loss, enhancing system resilience during emergencies.
Installation is straightforward using the SmartBracket mounting panel, enabling tool-free setup without opening the enclosure. Fire ReX Jeweller is fully compatible with Ajax EN54 line requirements and integrates cleanly with Ajax mobile and desktop apps for configuration and network monitoring.
