The Ajax Superior MotionProtect G3 Fibra is a wired indoor motion detector developed for high risk facilities requiring Grade 3 security. It uses two PIR sensors combined with advanced digital algorithms to accurately identify human movement while ignoring environmental interference or small pets. A unique mirror optical system enhances detection by focusing infrared radiation precisely on the sensors, reducing blind spots and ensuring high accuracy.
The detector provides reliable detection up to 15 metres with a vertical viewing angle of 72 degrees and a horizontal viewing angle of 90 degrees. It can detect even low speed movement from 0.1 metres per second which allows it to identify intrusions when an intruder is crawling or moving slowly near the ground.
Ajax’s Fibra communication protocol ensures secure two way wired data transmission up to 2000 metres over standard U UTP Cat 5 cable. The detector features anti masking technology that instantly recognises attempts to cover, spray or block the lens. It also includes multiple tamper protections that activate if the device is opened or removed, and maintains alarm reporting even if communication with the hub is disrupted.
Installation is straightforward using the SmartBracket mounting system and QR code pairing via the Fibra line, without the need to open the enclosure. Configuration and testing can be performed remotely through Ajax mobile or desktop apps. The device meets EN 50131 Grade 3 and PD 6662 2017 standards, making it a trusted solution for banks, warehouses, retail sites and other facilities where high level intrusion protection is critical.
