C-TEC ACTIV C4 Diode Relay Base-(CTEC-C4408DR)
The C-TEC ActiV C4 Diode Relay Base (C4408DR) is a high-quality relay detector base designed for use with C-TEC’s complete range of ActiV conventional fire detectors. Combining a diode base with an integrated relay output, the C4408DR provides a practical interface between compatible ActiV fire detectors and external equipment, making it a versatile choice for conventional fire alarm systems.
Featuring a 1A @ 24VDC relay controlled by the detector’s remote LED output, the C4408DR can be used for switching applications involving CCTV, security equipment and door-retaining systems. Its diode configuration also supports active head-removal monitoring, helping provide additional monitoring capability within suitable conventional fire alarm installations. The base uses 2-wire monitored, polarity-sensitive supply wiring and includes NO/C/NC relay connections.
Designed with installers and fire alarm engineers in mind, the C-TEC C4408DR ActiV Diode Relay Base offers generous working space, an integrated detector/base locking mechanism, head removal tool and ID tag. Its simple click-and-twist design allows compatible ActiV detectors to be fitted efficiently, while remote LED terminals provide the option of connecting a C-TEC BF318 remote indicator. The base measures 102.2mm diameter x 30mm deep, has an IP42 rating and is constructed from white UL94 V-2 rated polycarbonate.
