C-TEC ACTIV C4 En54-29 Smoke, Heat Multisensor-(CTEC-C4414)
C-TEC ACTIV C4 EN54-29 Smoke & Heat Multisensor – CTEC-C4414
The C-TEC ActiV C4 C4414 Multi-Sensor Fire Detector is a high-quality conventional fire alarm detector designed to provide reliable smoke and heat detection in a wide range of fire alarm applications. Manufactured in the UK by C-TEC, the C4414 combines heat and smoke sensing technology to provide effective detection of different types of fire while helping to reduce unwanted or false alarms. It is third-party certified to EN54-5 and EN54-7 by Intertek and has also been tested to pr-EN54-29.
The C4414 offers a wide 6–33V DC operating voltage, making it suitable for integration into compatible conventional fire alarm systems. Its advanced drift compensation automatically adjusts detector sensitivity to account for changing environmental conditions and contamination, helping maintain dependable detection performance and contributing to a potential service life of more than eight years. Two ultra-bright red LED indicator strips provide 360-degree alarm visibility, making the detector easy to identify when activated.
Ideal for commercial, industrial and other premises requiring dependable conventional fire detection, the C-TEC C4414 ActiV Multi-Sensor Detector is a practical choice for systems where both smoke and heat detection are required. The detector is compatible with C-TEC ActiV C4408D diode, C4408 non-diode and C4408R relay bases and uses monitored, polarity-sensitive two-wire wiring. Please note that the detector requires a compatible base for operation.
