The C-TEC ActiV Wall Sounder Shallow Base – Red (BF430C/CC/SR) is a high-output conventional fire alarm sounder designed to provide a clear and powerful audible warning during a fire alarm condition. With an impressive 100dB(A) sound output at 1 metre, this red wall-mounted sounder is suitable for a wide range of conventional fire detection and alarm systems. The unit is third-party certified to EN54-3 and is manufactured in the UK by C-TEC.
Designed for efficient operation, the C-TEC ActiV sounder features 31 selectable primary tones, an optional secondary tone and two selectable volume levels. Its low current consumption, with a typical alarm current of just 4mA at 30V DC, makes it suitable for applications where efficient use of the fire alarm system's available power is important. The sounder operates from 18–30V DC and is compatible with C-TEC CFP, FP, MFP and EP203 conventional fire alarm panels, as well as virtually all other compatible conventional panels, subject to appropriate compatibility testing.
The BF430C/CC/SR features a compact shallow-base design with a red enclosure, making it an excellent choice for conventional fire alarm installations where a highly visible and reliable audible alarm device is required. Rated IP21C and designed for indoor wall-mounted applications, it measures approximately 108mm in diameter x 99mm deep and operates between -10°C and +55°C. This C-TEC ActiV sounder combines high acoustic output, flexible tone selection and low power consumption in a compact conventional fire alarm device.
