C-TEC ACTIV Wall Sounder VAD Deep Base - Red-(CTEC-BF433C/CC/DR)
The C-TEC ACTIV Wall Sounder VAD Deep Base – Red (BF433C/CC/DR) is a high-output conventional fire alarm sounder and Visual Alarm Device (VAD) designed to provide both audible and visual fire warning. Manufactured by C-TEC, this red deep-base wall-mounted unit delivers an impressive 100dB(A) sound output at 1 metre and provides W-2.75-9 rated light distribution, making it suitable for a wide range of conventional fire alarm applications.
The ACTIV BF433C/CC/DR combines powerful audible signalling with a high-efficiency visual alarm to help alert building occupants during a fire alarm condition. It provides 31 selectable primary tones, selectable secondary tones, two volume settings and three selectable VAD flash settings of 0.5Hz, 1Hz or OFF. The device operates from 18–30V DC, with low alarm current consumption, helping it integrate efficiently into compatible conventional fire alarm systems.
With an IP33C-rated deep base, red enclosure and robust design, the C-TEC ACTIV Wall Sounder VAD is well suited to commercial, industrial and other conventional fire alarm installations. The unit is third-party certified to EN54-3 for sounders and EN54-23 for VADs by LPCB and is compatible with C-TEC conventional fire alarm panels as well as virtually all other compatible conventional systems, subject to appropriate compatibility testing.
