C-TEC ACTIV Wall Sounder VAD Shallow Base Red-(CTEC-BF433C/CC/SR)
The C-TEC ActiV Wall Sounder VAD Shallow Base Red (BF433C/CC/SR) is a high-output conventional fire alarm sounder and visual alarm device (VAD) designed to provide both audible and visual fire alarm notification. Manufactured by C-TEC in the UK, this compact red wall-mounted device delivers an impressive 100dB(A) sound output at 1 metre, helping provide clear and effective alarm indication in suitable indoor fire detection applications.
Featuring EN 54-3 and EN 54-23 certification, the BF433C/CC/SR combines a powerful sounder with a high-efficiency VAD. It provides W-2.75-9 rated light distribution when wall mounted and is also certified as a W-4-4 VAD. The device offers 31 selectable primary tones, an optional secondary tone, two volume settings and three selectable VAD flash rates of 0.5Hz, 1Hz or OFF, allowing the unit to be configured for different fire alarm requirements.
Designed for 18–30V DC operation, the C-TEC ActiV BF433C/CC/SR has an IP21C rating, making it suitable for indoor wall-mounted applications. Its shallow-base design measures approximately 108mm in diameter and 99mm deep, while the device weighs approximately 230g. The sounder VAD is compatible with C-TEC conventional fire alarm panels including CFP, FP, MFP and EP203, as well as virtually all other makes, although compatibility testing with third-party panels is recommended.
