The C-TEC CAST Compact Ceiling Sounder VAD White (CTEC-CA451A/SW) is an addressable combined sounder and visual alarm device designed for use with C-TEC CAST addressable fire alarm systems. Providing both a powerful audible alarm and high-efficiency visual warning, this compact ceiling-mounted device helps deliver clear fire alarm notification in commercial, industrial and public buildings. The CA451A/SW provides an impressive 96dB(A) sound output at 1 metre and is certified to the relevant requirements of EN 54-3, EN 54-17 and EN 54-23.
The CAST Compact Sounder VAD combines audible and visual alarm functionality in a discreet, space-saving design. It provides C-3-8 light distribution when ceiling mounted and can also provide W-3-3.1 light distribution when wall mounted. The device features four selectable volume levels and 31 selectable tones, allowing compatible CAST systems to configure alarm characteristics to suit different applications.
