The C-TEC CAST Compact Wall Sounder VAD Red (CTEC-CA451A/SR) is an addressable combined sounder and Visual Alarm Device (VAD) designed for use with C-TEC CAST fire alarm systems. Combining a powerful audible alarm with a high-visibility visual warning in one compact unit, it provides an effective way of alerting building occupants during a fire alarm condition. The red shallow-base design makes it particularly suitable for wall-mounted fire alarm applications where clear alarm indication and a neat appearance are required.
Offering an impressive 96dB(A) sound output at 1 metre, the CA451A/SR provides a strong audible alarm while its integrated VAD provides W-3-3.1 light distribution when wall mounted. The device also features four selectable volume levels and 31 selectable tones, providing flexibility when configuring a CAST addressable fire alarm system. Group addressing allows multiple devices to operate simultaneously where required, helping provide coordinated audible and visual alarm notification.
The C-TEC CA451A/SR incorporates an onboard short-circuit loop isolator and is LPCB certified to EN54-3, EN54-17 and EN54-23, with Kiwa Telefication certification to EN54-13.
