C-TEC CAST Pro Smoke Detector-(CTEC-CP416)
The C-TEC CAST Pro Smoke Detector (CTEC-CP416) is a programmable optical smoke detector designed to provide fast and reliable detection of real fire conditions while helping to minimise unwanted false alarms. Using C-TEC’s advanced MASC™ (Miniature Advanced Smoke Detection Chamber) and sophisticated detection algorithms, the CP416 offers enhanced smoke detection performance for modern addressable fire alarm systems.
Designed for use with C-TEC CAST addressable fire alarm systems, the CP416 is fully compatible with C-TEC XFP and ZFP CAST protocol addressable fire panels. It supports two detection modes, including normal sensitivity and high sensitivity, allowing the detector’s operation to be programmed according to the requirements of the fire detection system. The detector also incorporates drift compensation and an onboard short-circuit loop isolator for dependable system operation.
The C-TEC CP416 CAST-PRO optical smoke detector is certified to EN54-7, EN54-13 and EN54-17 by Kiwa Telefication and is designed to operate with the CA408 CAST detector base, which features an integrated locking mechanism and ID tag. With low power consumption, 360° visible red LED alarm indication and a compact 105mm housing, the CP416 is a strong choice for addressable fire detection applications requiring dependable smoke detection and intelligent false-alarm resistance.
