C-TEC CAST Pro Smoke, Heat Multisensor-(CTEC-CP414)
The C-TEC CAST-PRO Smoke & Heat Multisensor (CTEC-CP414) is a programmable addressable fire detector designed to provide reliable detection of both smoke and heat within C-TEC CAST fire alarm systems. Combining advanced smoke detection with heat sensing in a single compact device, the CP414 is designed to respond quickly to genuine fire conditions while helping to minimise unwanted false alarms. It is compatible with C-TEC XFP and ZFP CAST protocol addressable fire alarm panels, making it a versatile choice for professional fire detection applications.
The CP414 incorporates C-TEC's advanced MASC™ (Miniature Advanced Smoke Detection Chamber) and intelligent detection algorithms to improve resistance to false alarms while maintaining rapid response to real fires. With eight selectable detection modes, the detector can be programmed to suit different environmental requirements, including smoke-only, heat-only and combined smoke-and-heat detection. Drift compensation further helps maintain consistent detector performance as environmental conditions change, while the built-in short-circuit loop isolator provides additional system resilience.
Certified to relevant EN54 standards, the C-TEC CAST-PRO CP414 offers a dependable solution for modern addressable fire alarm systems. The detector operates on a 2-wire, polarity-sensitive connection and is compatible with the CA408 CAST detector base, which features an integrated locking mechanism and identification tag. With its compact, unobtrusive design, low current consumption and 360° visible red LED alarm indication, the CP414 is well suited to a wide range of commercial and professional fire detection applications.
