C-TEC CAST Programmable Heat Detector-(CTEC-CA402)
The C-TEC CAST Programmable Heat Detector (CTEC-CA402) is a high-quality addressable heat detector designed for use with C-TEC’s XFP and ZFP CAST protocol fire alarm panels. It provides reliable heat detection in environments where traditional smoke detection may be unsuitable, making it a practical choice for applications where fumes, airborne materials or normal background conditions could result in unwanted alarms.
The CA402 offers flexible programmable heat detection, allowing the detector to operate using different heat detection characteristics, including rate-of-rise and fixed-temperature settings. Its operating mode can be configured through compatible C-TEC panel PC programming tools, providing greater flexibility when designing an addressable fire detection system for different environments.
Featuring an onboard short-circuit loop isolator, 360° LED alarm indication and compatibility with the C-TEC CA408 CAST detector base and selected CAST Base Mount devices, the CTEC-CA402 is designed for dependable integration into CAST addressable fire alarm systems. The detector is certified to relevant EN 54-5 and EN 54-17 requirements and provides a robust solution for professional fire detection applications.
