C-TEC CAST Zone Monitor Module-(CTEC-CA732)
The C-TEC CAST Zone Monitor Module (CA732) is a high-quality addressable interface designed to connect a conventional fire detection zone to compatible C-TEC CAST addressable fire alarm systems. The module provides a practical way to monitor conventional fire detectors and manual call points through a CAST addressable loop, making it suitable for a wide range of commercial and life-safety applications. The CA732 is compatible with C-TEC XFP and ZFP CAST addressable fire panels and supports up to 20 conventional ActiV fire detectors and 10 manual call points on a single monitored zone.
The C-TEC CA732 Zone Monitor incorporates an onboard, bi-directional short-circuit loop isolator to help maintain communication and fault monitoring across the CAST loop. It operates from 22–40V DC and has a typical quiescent current of just 1.1mA, with approximately 4mA typical alarm current. Clear LED indicators provide information on loop polling, active status and input faults, helping provide useful system status information. The module can also be configured as a general-purpose input monitor, offering additional flexibility for compatible CAST fire alarm systems.
Designed with the needs of professional fire alarm systems in mind, the CA732 CAST Zone Monitor Module is LPCB certified to EN54-17 and EN54-18, with Kiwa Telefication and DBI certification to EN54-13, as well as relevant EN54 certification from SBSC. Its compact 147 x 87 x 22mm format allows mounting on a standard UK 25mm double-gang back box or C-TEC NCP-26 surface box.
