The C-TEC Hush-Pro HP402 Heat Detector (CTEC-HP402) is a high-quality fixed-temperature fire detector designed to provide reliable heat detection as part of the C-TEC Hush-Pro fire alarm system. Operating as a Class A2 fixed-temperature heat detector, the HP402 triggers when the ambient temperature reaches approximately 60°C, making it particularly suitable for areas where smoke detectors may be prone to unwanted alarms.
Designed for compatibility with the C-TEC HP508 Hush-Pro BS 5839-6 Grade C Controller, the HP402 offers dependable fire detection within residential fire alarm applications. The detector operates on 22–40 VDC and incorporates an onboard short-circuit isolator, while two ultra-bright red LED indicator strips provide 360° visibility of the detector's alarm status.
The C-TEC HP402 Hush-Pro Heat Detector is also LPCB certified to EN 54-5 and EN 54-17, providing a trusted solution for compatible Hush-Pro fire detection systems. Its robust white polycarbonate housing, compact design and simple click-and-twist fitting make it a practical choice for professional fire alarm applications.
