C-TEC Hush Pro Smoke Detector-(CTEC-HP416)
The C-TEC Hush-Pro HP416 Optical Smoke Detector (CTEC-HP416) is a high-quality fire detection device designed for use with C-TEC’s Hush-Pro BS 5839-6 Grade C fire alarm systems. Using optical smoke detection technology, the HP416 is designed to provide reliable detection of visible smoke and is particularly suited to residential applications including flats, apartments and other domestic dwellings.
Featuring a medium optical sensitivity of 0.16 dB/m, the HP416 uses an infrared light source and photodiode to identify smoke particles entering the optical chamber. The detector operates from 22–40 VDC and incorporates an onboard short-circuit isolator, helping provide dependable operation within a monitored Hush-Pro fire detection system.
The C-TEC HP416 Hush-Pro Optical Smoke Detector is LPCB third-party certified to EN 54-7 and EN 54-17 and features two ultra-bright red LED indicator strips providing 360° visibility. The detector is compatible with the C-TEC HP408 Hush-Pro detector base and selected Hush-Pro base mount devices, with a robust white polycarbonate housing and a simple click-and-twist design for efficient fitting.
