The XFP501/CA incorporates a powerful 40V loop driver capable of supporting up to 255 CAST devices on a single loop, providing installers with considerable flexibility when designing addressable fire alarm systems. CAST technology provides distributed intelligence, multiple type codes, robust data transfer and autonomous decision-making, while two soft addressing options allow devices to be addressed automatically from the panel or manually using a compatible handheld programmer/device tester.
