The kit includes a cutting-edge Hikvision 4-channel 8MP PoC DVR with two Hikvision 8MP 4K PoC Hybrid ColorVu cameras. Hybrid ColorVu technology delivers detailed full-colour images in extremely low-light conditions, while powerful integrated illumination provides clear visibility at night.
Hikvision’s revolutionary Turbo HD technology brings 4K Ultra HD surveillance to traditional coaxial cabling, making it an ideal choice for both new installations and upgrades to existing analogue CCTV systems. Turbo HD allows high-resolution video to be transmitted over coax while retaining the simplicity and reliability associated with traditional CCTV installations.
The main reason for installing CCTV is to capture useful evidence when an incident occurs, and the 8MP 4K cameras provide exceptional levels of detail. With a resolution of up to 3840 × 2160, 4K provides significantly more image detail, allowing you to digitally zoom into recorded footage while retaining greater clarity – ideal for identifying people, vehicles and other important details.
Power over Coaxial (PoC) technology allows both video and power to be transmitted through a single coaxial cable. This removes the need for separate power cables and local power supplies, helping make installations quicker and tidier. PoC cameras can be used over cable runs of up to 200 metres when paired with a compatible Hikvision PoC recorder. They can also be used with standard compatible recorders when a separate power supply is provided.
Remote viewing is simple using the Hik-Connect app. Once the DVR is connected to the internet, you can securely access your CCTV system from a compatible smartphone or tablet without complicated port forwarding. View live cameras, play back recorded footage and receive event notifications while away from the property using the Hik-Connect app.
Designed for reliable indoor or outdoor surveillance, the cameras feature a durable weather-resistant construction, making them suitable for year-round security monitoring around homes and businesses.
