Vigitron 1-Port MaxiiCopper Ethernet Extender/PoE over Coax (Requires 12v 1ah)- (VIG-VI2401A)
The Vigitron VI2401A MaxiiCopper Ethernet Extender is a high-performance Ethernet over Coax solution designed to transmit both network data and Power over Ethernet (PoE) across existing coaxial cable infrastructure. It enables the seamless migration from analogue CCTV systems to modern IP surveillance without the cost and disruption of installing new Ethernet cabling. Supporting transmission distances of up to 1,515 metres (5,000 ft), it provides a cost-effective upgrade path for security installations.
Featuring Pass-Through PoE (PTP™) technology, the VI2401A allows power and data to travel over the same coax cable, eliminating the need for additional remote power supplies. Its Symmetric Bandwidth (SBW™) and Virtual Zero Packet Loss (VZPL™) technologies ensure stable, full-duplex communication with reliable upload and download performance, making it ideal for megapixel IP cameras, high-bandwidth surveillance systems, and other demanding network applications.
Built for demanding indoor and outdoor environments, the compact VI2401A fits easily into camera housings, junction boxes, and weatherproof enclosures. It operates in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +75°C, supports IEEE 802.3af/at/bt PoE standards, and is tested to industry network and environmental standards for dependable long-term operation in warehouses, campuses, parking facilities, industrial sites, and commercial security installations.
