The Vigitron Vi2404A MaxiiCopper 4-Port Ethernet Extender is designed to extend Ethernet and PoE transmission over existing coaxial cable infrastructure, making it an ideal solution for upgrading analogue CCTV systems to IP surveillance. By eliminating the need to replace legacy coax cabling, it significantly reduces installation costs and deployment time while supporting reliable high-speed network connectivity.
Featuring four extended Ethernet ports, the Vi2404A supports 10/100BaseT data transmission over long distances, reaching up to 1,524 metres (5,000 ft) at 10Mbps and 546 metres (1,800 ft) at 100Mbps. The unit supports Pass-Through PoE (PTP™), allowing both power and data to be delivered over coax, making it ideal for powering remote IP cameras without requiring local power supplies.
Built for demanding security applications, the Vi2404A incorporates Vigitron's Symmetric Bandwidth (SBW™) technology with Virtual Zero Packet Loss (VZPL™) to ensure stable, full-duplex network performance. MegaPixel Certified (MPC™) and compliant with major IEEE networking standards, it is suitable for surveillance deployments in warehouses, campuses, casinos, parking facilities, and other large-scale environments. Requires a 12V DC 3A power supply (sold separately or as specified).
