The Vigitron VI2308A MaxiiCopper 8-Port Ethernet/PoE Extender is designed to overcome the standard 100m Ethernet distance limitation by extending Ethernet and PoE transmission up to 914m (3,000ft) over existing Cat5 or better UTP cable. It is an ideal solution for large-scale IP surveillance systems, remote networking applications, industrial sites, warehouses, campuses, and parking facilities where network devices need to be installed far beyond conventional Ethernet distances.
Supporting IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at and 802.3bt Pass-Through PoE (PTP™), the VI2308A can deliver up to 74W of PoE power, allowing high-power devices such as PTZ cameras, heated cameras, wireless access points, and other PoE-enabled equipment to operate reliably without requiring additional power at the remote end. Its Symmetric Bandwidth (SBW™) and Virtual Zero Packet Loss (VZPL™) technologies ensure stable, high-performance data transmission for demanding surveillance and networking applications.
Built with reliability in mind, the VI2308A features eight independent Ethernet extension channels, support for Jumbo Frames up to 9,600 bytes, and rugged industrial-grade construction capable of operating in temperatures from -40°C to +75°C.
